Konsulko Group is a team of embedded Linux and Open Source Software community and industry veterans. Our focus is upstream and production software design, enablement, optimization, and maintenance for customers in a wide array of embedded software markets including automotive, networking, industrial, and IoT. Konsulko’s senior leadership have been contributors in the Linux kernel and other OSS communities since the late 1990s. The entire Konsulko team is involved today in a number of Open Source projects including the Linux kernel, U-Boot, Yocto Project, OpenEmbedded, AGL, and GENIVI.

Peter (Pete) Popov has more than 20 years of experience in the high tech industry in Silicon Valley and entrepreneurial engagements in a number of countries around the world. Founder and CEO of Embedded Alley, a Linux and Open Source consulting company acquired by Mentor Graphics in 2009, Pete holds a Bachelor of Science degree in electrical engineering from California Polytechnic State University, San Luis Obispo. A Linux user since 1995, Pete made Linux a full time career in 2000 when he joined MontaVista Software as a kernel developer and later as Founder and CEO of Embedded Alley.
